....to get stuck in your head...so that the only way to get it out is with a bullet. So tell me what song(s) drive you into a homicidal rage when you hear it? Jessica hates the 'Six Flags' commercial tune (with the dancing old retarded looking guy)...btw, if anybody has that song I'd be happy to take a copy from ya! ;D My personal beef is all the new emo-punk crap that is coming out. Its the same upbeat melody set to a whiney voiced pre-pubecent male singing about topics that DON'T deserve a upbeat melody so they can target their recycled crap to a young and stupid audience; anybody from ages 8-18. Those songs make me want to claw my ears off anytime I'm exposed to one. So how about the rest of you?

*gritting teeth*
"Right Round" by "Dead or Alive"
I HATE the 80's genre of music. 99% of the music from the 80's is CRAP. But this particular little ditty drives me insaaaaaaaaaaane. That and anything (yes, that's right, ANYTHING) by Ozzy Osbourne.

What's wrong with the 80s? *ducks*
During my freshman year at Ursinus there was one guy down the hall who used to blast music by a particular band, one song in particular. For the life of me I can't remember the band or the song name (and maybe that's a good thing). Whenever I hear that song on the radio, or other music identifiable as being by the same group, I will do everything in my power to find the off switch for whatever is playing it.

You know Sunshine, all that 80's hating has gone and made Matt cry. Yes matt loves that wonderous noise pollution known as 80's music. But not all things from the 80's was bad. The Goonies? C'mon thats a classic! And how about when the 80's ended? That was probably the best part of that decade! ;D *gritting teeth* "Right Round" by "Dead or Alive" I HATE the 80's genre of music. 99% of the music from the 80's is CRAP. ANY rap song that features the "f" word used in all its grammatical prowess. I mean do we really need to use it as a verb, noun, adjective, adverb, and preposition all in one sentence??? Variety is the spice of life, get a bigger vocabulary. Also ANY rap song that strips any semblance of syntax or structure from the English language leaving it a void less husk of its formal self. When the use the verb “be” where it’s not supposed to be used and then I wonder why I can’t get my students to write a cohesive thought or form a sentence that in [glow=red,2,300]ANY[/glow] way resembles the English I know they should be speaking.

80's rule! (Granted, I like mostly New Wave crap, and I freely admit that most of it is crap, but I still like it).
And if I still had the part of my brain that identified that god-awful song I hate, I'd tell you.
But then you'd probably use it against me at some time and I'd have to kill you, then Jess would kill me, then Janet would collect the life-insurance and ...

"Thong Song" *shudder*
"It's the End of the World"
Ugh. *twitches* Why does the brain keep playing them in such mind-numbing circles? only little snippets? It isn't even the whole song!!!

Fortunately, we now have the perfect cure for any of those songs.
"So long, and thanks for all the fish!" from the Hitchhiker's soundtrack.

Thaaaaaaaanks for that. It is especially catching at the end of the movie, when the credits are rolling.

I have the "Six Flags" song. It is by a group called the Venga Boys.
Fear not Matt, I like the 80's also. I HATE the crap that is being put out now. It seems that rap and ghetto/urban music is the only thing that is being made. I have rather ecletic tatses when it comes to music. I like dance music alot. Good groups: Genesis Billy Joel (older stuff) Amber Queen Peter Gabriel Lara Fabian Pink Floyd Phil Collins Assorted Soundtracks Abba Enya Ace of Base Laura McDerrmitt Tempet
This is not a complete list, but is what comes to mind.
