If the consensus is January, I'll stick with it. But I'd like to hear from Charles & Vince first on the subject.

I have the most open schedule of everyone in the group, so whenever is fine with me. I'm fence-sitting with this one only because the two die-hard Shadowrun fans have already chimed in.

I'm in no grand rush either, with enough things to juggle to keep me busy in the meanwhile. "Whenever" works just as fine with me as well.

And of course, I send an email to Amazon asking on the status of when the book is supposed to ship. It's been listed as between "October 15th through October 26th" for the actual ship date. I get an email back where they 1) write off the shipping cost due to the lateness of the book, 2) Split the order so I no longer have to wait for Shadowrun to read the new Greenwood/Cunningham Waterdeep novel and 3)UPDATE THE SHIP ESTIMATE TO NOVEMBER 16th THROUGH NOVEMBER 30th.
This really sucks because a) it's not Amazon's fault and b) it's not Fanpro's fault. The printer FanPro had chosen for the book apparently did not understand the terms of the contract and royally fucked up the entire order. I thanked Amazon, cancelled the Shadowrun part of the order and I'm now checking eBay and online stores for the book.
Phil, do you know if the gaming stores are getting it in soon? I know some stores did (actual pictures of the books straight from shipping boxes) but I haven't seen it anywhere around here...

So, we're coming up on a new year. I saw Charles last night at a Xmas party and figured I'd post what I have so far on the game. I'm putting together a six-session campaign, one adventure per session (hopefully). The way I figure it, it will probably be a once a month game, alternating with Eberron or another game.
Of course, to start it all off, we'd have to get the characters all rolled up. So, after all the holidays are done, let's figure out when we can get together to do this.
Check your calendars and figure out when you might be available.

As it stands now, any weekend in January is available for me.

My copy of the Shadworun 4th Ed. book showed up today from Amazon. Amazingly I only ordered it on the 20th and payed the ground shipping costs (3-5 days). So yes Virginia, Amazon does have the Shadowrun books instock and apparently its the 'corrected 2nd printing' too (thats what it says in my book).
