Just cuz I know that some people on the board don't know other people (just the stories that have been told...), I figured I'd make a standing topic to introduce yourself and give whatever blackmail details we can use in a court of law.

I finally signed up (and mistakenly posted as guest, so now my name is out there...flippin blonde)! So now you all can get off my back... Details...eh, perhaps not. Those who know me have enough dirt on me to bury me.

Meant to get to this earlier. Most people on here already know who I am IRL. But for those who don't:
Hi, my name is Charles, and I'm a gaming addict. I officially have too many games I am interested in. RPGs, miniatures games, consoles games, PC games. Too many games, only one of me.
I currently run the Tales of the Sword Coast game and am resposible for the Eldritch Blades and Baldur's Gate saga games (both one-on-one). I've also got a Council of Wyrms and a Mystara game to eventually post information about. These are two that were run mostly while I was in college, and again were one-on-one. I am also the self-designated record keeper for the Star Wars game for which I posted the journals. Games I've played would be too numerous to mention off the top of my head, and games I own just as bad (as can be witnessed by anyone who's seen my collection). I'd have to say, though, that my all time favorite game would be D&D, followed closely by any sword and sorcery fantasy game. I just like fantasy. And dragons (especially dragons).

TOTALLY OFF TOPIC: Did you notice that the Google ads tailor themsleves to whatever the post might be about? For instance, look on Phil's post on Pimp The Backhanding. If you are lucky the ads by Google will be there, if not hit refresh. They are the only ads I've seen on the site for Pimp hats and Velour suits.

OK.. Here goes..
My name is Simon.. I play D&D (run by Charles) and I GM a Champions game (when we can schedule it). I have various interests including minitaure gaming and comics. My two favoritew comicbook heroes are Iron Man and Green Lantern. I was a long standing Cyberpunk-aholic but I haven't touch the game in many many years. Though part of me would like to give it a try again.

Hello all!
My name is Janet. I'm the moderator's bitch, AKA his wife.
I game occasionally. Lets see... I've been a sexy red haired bard named Ariel, an stuffy paladin named Zantilan, a happy go lucky, fearless, and totally obnoxious kender named Talliwhoop, a silver dragon name Azusilan, a surley dwarven female fighter named Grimla, and most recently a moon-elven Tempest named Illysta. She and Talliwhoop remain my favorites.
I'm not the die hard gamer many of you here are but every once in a while I like to step outside myself for a bit of hack and slash.
I also am a die hard Tolkien fan as you can tell by my screen name.
Actually, part of that choice is Matt's fault because I was going to use my good ol' standby screen name "BlackVelvet" but Matt saw me typing it in and said "Gee, I couldn't have predicted you'd pick that" So in my well practiced capacity for smart assedness I chose Gandalfs Ho instead. Sorry honey, you had it coming.
Cheers!
-Janet

*taps chin* Most people know me, either by the handles Jona Hex or Silhouette3050, real name is Brian, but some call me B, and if you get the joke with Silhouette3050 you know more Battletech history then real history.
Games... yeah uhm like Relthar I've got waaay to many to name. I've played in just about every game out their at least once. Favorites include in order of number of books, Rifts *drools*, D&D most flavors, Shadowrun, Dark Conspiracy and Werewolf/Changling. For vid games, I"m an RTS (Real Time Stragety) junkie, personal fav being Dungeon Keeper 1 and 2. As you might guess I'm also a avid wargamer, 40k and warmachine are now via for what I have the most of, but I'll pick warmachine over 40k every day.

Okay, since most of us wrote a mini-biography: My name is Sunshine (yeah, my parents were hippies/freaks/psychadelic moon trippers/whatfuckingever). D&D is the main game in my life, the only other one being my cherry-breaker, MERP. I have played MERP for one year and 4 months and 26 days. I am still a greenhorn/newbie/baby to the D&D forum, although I caught on much quicker than I did MERP. Mostly due to Charles' whippings...er, I mean lessons. ;D I love the gaming world, and I wish I was brought into it sooner. But better to have lived late than not live at all, I suppose. Otherwise, I am a single mom of three gorgeous girls, I still go to school at night, and I work full time. If you think I'm busy, you have NO friggin' clue. Time is precious to me, just like The One Ring is precious to Frodo. Some people think my life is full of drama, but I just call it life. Catch me if you can.......

Better late than never. I'm Vince, and I'm a gameraholic - just like many of us here. My taste in games runs very similar to Charles's, only with live-action instead of miniatures. I'm at least partly to blame for most of the campaigns that Charles noted - Tales of the Sword Coast, Eldritch Blades, Baldur's Gate Saga, Council of Wyrms, Mystara ... yeah, I'm the other 'one' in the 'one-on-one.' I've played a broad range of games, and own a range nearly as broad. My favorite game remains D&D, followed closely behind by live-action sword-and-sorcery, then general fantasy.
