Just a friendly FYI for stuff that I hope not to see on the boards: Flame Wars If you got a beef with someone, take it offline. If a normal discussion leads to a flame war, I'll lock it down until cooler heads prevail. Outrageous belittling Sure, you can zing away at each other, but keep it civilized. I'm not looking for message threads that consist of "You're so gay.", "You're more gay.", etc. Consistency Keep threads on topic. If you start going on a tangent, create a new thread and talk about it there. If you have any questions or comments, message or email me. <EDIT> I also removed the profanity filter from the board. Since we're all over 18 here. If you're NOT over 18, first off, who the fuck are you and how'd you find out about this board and second, go away.</EDIT>

Spoilers:
It's bound to come up at some point, so I figured I tell ya the best way I've seen to post spoilers (to movies, games, whatever) so you're not hated by the populace.
First off, in the very beginning of your post, type in nice, big capital letters SPOILER ALERT. This will stop most from reading further.
Next, when you type the spoiler use the code below to change the text color to white. That way the only way you can read the spoiler is to highlight it with your mouse. These means you've made a choice and have to live with it. You can use the Colors dropdown in the posting area to bring up the code, but White is not a selection in the dropdown, so you have to type it in over whatever color you chose.

Just implemented a restriction on new accounts. Before accounts become active (i.e. someone signs up and can post), the account in question must be approved by a staff member (i.e. me or the mods). I don't see much of a problem with people wandering in and joining on a whim, but I also don't want to have 11-year-olds coming in and reading some of our more colorful language.
