While reviewing the 'Complete' line I thought I'd just post a list of classes allowed for players to use as a base class in addition to the core classes.
Complete Adventurer: Scout Spellthief
Complete Arcane: Warmage
Complete Divine: Spirit Shaman
Complete Warrior: Swashbuckler
Classes not allowed are as follows. Ninja, Samurai, Wu-Jen, Shugenja (there isn't any asian-esque nations to Eberron that I've found) Warlock, Hexblade, Favored Soul.
Also alignment allowed are: LG,NG,CG,LN,N
I'll try to start compiling a prestige class list when I have more time to research it.

Question: Would you allow the Constructor PrC? It is a psionic PrC that was posted on WotC's website in their Mind's Eye series of articles. Here is a direct link. If you don't want to use stuff from their website, I understand completely, no explanation is needed. There're more than enough other toys for me to play with.

Hmm...I looked it over and I do think its quite interesting but I'm going to have to think on it for now. The biggest thing for me is to see if it 'fits in' with that world. I'm guessing Kalashtar is the race you're concidering. So I want to review them more in the Races of Eberron book (when I get it....hopefully soon) and see if that class matches up with them. Know what I mean? Besides, stuff like that will be fun to chat about over burgers and bbq ;D.

Yep, it would be a Kalashtar psion (shaper). They are the natural psychics of Eberron after all.
And I fully understand what you mean. "Just because its cool doesn't mean it should be used," to quote myself.

The decision has been made in regards to the Warlock, hexblade, Favored Soul classes. I just can't see how they would fit into Eberron whatsoever. So they will not be permitted as player classes. The Warlock was a tough call for me but when it came down to "thats just cool" vs. "does it fit the theme?" sadly the warlock doesn't fit the theme and tone of this world.

Yes I did yet I've wanted to use them for awhile now. I will have a different take on where & who can be Dragon Shamans & Duskblades than Mr Baker though. Those two classes will be slightly more restrictive as to where you come from & what race you are.
