How did you feel about the ending? I was reading on a few sites that told how it ended with Harry shooting back the death curse at Vold. right? How did you feel about that? and another question: How about Snapes death? I was hoping for something a little more dramatic, a little more like stepping in front of Harry not as a sacrifice, but perhaps in the context of the story it has more meaning. Another thing I was unclear about: The child that was Lupin and what's her name had, did she give birth before they died? One of my students was a bit confused and emailed me, and never having read the book, was at a loss. And how did you feel about the 19 years later thing? I would have thought Harry would have at least taken a position at Hogwarts. But it was a nice touch naming his kids after Dumbeldoor and Snape. Does this mean that if she continues since he has the name sakes this kid will be the star of her next book?

I would have thought Harry would have at least taken a position at Hogwarts. But it was a nice touch naming his kids after Dumbeldoor and Snape. Does this mean that if she continues since he has the name sakes this kid will be the star of her next book? My opinion: I liked it. The deaths were actually sad, but they had some meaning. I nearly cried that Tonks (Lupin's wife) died. First question: He didn't shoot the curse back. They were dueling, Voldemort cast Avra Cadeva curse and Harry used his signature Expelliarmus spell. He disarmed Voldemort, Volde's curse went wild, rebounded and killed Voldemort. Harry, to the end, remained the good guy (he did do a couple Imperio and Crucio curses through the book, but in self defense and never "proper". Second question: The death was not dramatic, but the chapter dedicated to his life and reasons for all the choices he made was well written and set him straight as a "good guy" that got caught up in stuff when he was younger that was beyond him. Third question: Tonks and Lupin's son, Ted was born before the final battle, and Harry was named Godfather. I loved the 19 years later thing. Harry was probably offered a position at Hogwarts, but turned it down since he never felt himself a teacher. I honestly don't know if she'll continue with the kids, or if she will leave those stories to others. And the names of Harry and Ginny's children were James (eldest), Albus Severus (middle) and Lilly (youngest). Ron and Hermione's children (don't know if there were more or not) were Rose (eldest) and Hugo. Also, Teddy Lupin (19 years old at the time) was "snogging" Victorie Weasley (daughter of Bill & Fleur, age 17ish?) before the train left for Hogwarts. And young Scorpius Malfoy (Draco son) was starting the same time as Albus, I believe. How's THAT for a spoiler Finally: Brian, if you read these, it's you're own damn fault.
