I've started working on a premise for our campaign. I'm currently assuming the 4 players that have been in discussion using Lizardmen, Lizardmen, Vampire Counts, and Orcs/Goblins.
The premise: Following the bloodshed of the Nemesis campaign the bloodied remains of armies are set to return home. But the lands are still full of dangerous warbands.
This summer GW held the nemesis campaign which has now been resolved. Our little groups are the remains of larger armies looking to get home. My WIP territories chart that I'll send out when I get home and is listed below is based off of this premise.
I need a territory that fits the Greenskins. Any suggestions welcome.
2- Shrine d3 rerolls as Blessed Spawning of Old Ones 3- Graveyard If Vapire Counts receive an extra d3x10 pts. If non-VC, choose one unit; that unit is immune to psychology 4- Tavern Some of your warband gets drunk. Pick a unit before the game, that unit is drunk and must roll a d6 before every turn. On a roll of 1 they are stupid, on a 6 they are frenzied. 5- Ruined Tower You find and plunder a ruined mage tower. Receive d3x10 points to spend on magic items 6- Outpost You find a small outpost of warriors. Add d3x10 points to your force. 7- Camp You find a small camp of your own race. Add d3 x 10 points to your force. 8- Battlefield You stumble across the remains of a battle. Spend an extra d3x10 points on unit upgrades (i.e. shields, banners, etc.) 9- Road Your troops arrive at the battle field first and have time to prepare. You choose if you go first or second. The player with more road territories gets to go first. If both players have an equal number of roads then the game will start as normal. 10- Orky Thing 11- Spawning Pool If Lizardmen you may apply 1 "free" spawning to a unit. The unit still counts agains the force org chart as normal. If non-lizard, receive an extra d3x10 in magic items. 12- Spy as Original Rules

Errrrg... Reading that reminded me that I'll need a refresher course on the "How-Tos' of Warhammer.

NO!! I need to be able to beat somebody... ;D Just kidding... I have only played two (2) games ever of Warhammer. The first time, I played against a Dwarven army and the defining moment of the battle was when my cavalry charged a unit of Iron Breaks (Dwarves in Heavy Armor). The horses and riders smashed into the unit and stopped.... more specifically... they splattered against the shields and were mostly destroyed. The second battle was against an Empire army... I faired a little better and didn't die... as quickly.

Well, that puts me as the experienced one.
When ever we meet (How are we going to arrange that by the way?), we can just play a couple of basic trial run games before we get the campaign moving. Maybe a 2 on 2 match up so you guys can re-acclimate (just acclimate?) to the rules.

OK... first we need to decide on how we hope on meeting and then when..
During the week? In the evening? Weekend? Saturday or Sunday? All day or a few hours in the evening?
My weekends are booked until October. Tomorrow (22-SEPT-07) is Andrew's B-Day party and then next weekend is Celtic Classic.
I'm working on getting another player involved... Michelle from my work was into Fantasy and had a Bretonnian Army... I think we might be able to coax her out of hiding.
I have almost finished my Chaos Marines (that I have now) and so I will have time to work on my Fantasy Bone-Boyz. I found an OoP mini of a really cool looking Skeletal Necromancer. I will paint him up and use him as my leader, since I cannot use my Necromancer riding a Zombie Dragon.

It'll have to be weekends. My weeks are booked because of work and other obligation.
