Shadowrun might make a good game to run for whomever can attend the every-two-weeks get-togethers when attendance makes running the other campaigns impractical. I have no idea what Matt's plans are/were for the game, so what I'm thinking may not work at all. Anyway, if the scenarios are designed to be shorter and finished in one session (which can be easier with our longer sessions), having to worry about what happens to characters whose players aren't present for multi-session adventures is all but eliminated.
As I said, this might not be practical from the GM's point of view. Nor am I suggesting it to be the only alternative option. Thoughts?

Interesting... My thoughts were to use the forums as kind of the Matrix contact to the characters, providing the meet details and info before they arrived. I can alter that to also send out feelers for runners looking for work (i.e. those that could make it), without having to rely on the idea of a team-hire. Much more mercenary like, but I like the idea.
Now, let me get back to writing the adve... er working! Yes, that's it working on web pages!
